Dental Care for Children
When should children start visiting the dentist?
Children should first visit the dentist either at the first sign of a tooth, or around the time they turn one year old.
This early initial visit will help us diagnose, and subsequently monitor and/or treat, any potential issues.
How frequently do children need to visit the dentist?
Kids should visit the dentist just as often as adults do: twice a year at a minimum! The dentist may recommend more frequent visits based on your child's unique oral health needs.
Sedation: Is it okay for children?
Yes, sedation is safe for children! For children get nervous or scared about visiting the dentist, sedation can help them feel better.
